Connect Four is the beloved vertical strategy game. Drop your coloured discs into a seven-column grid and try to line up four in a row — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — while stopping the computer from doing the same. It's easy to pick up but full of tactical depth as the board fills up and threats stack on both sides.

How to Play

1. 1Tap a column to drop your red disc into the lowest empty slot.
2. 2The computer drops a yellow disc in response.
3. 3Connect four of your discs in a row — across, up, or diagonally.
4. 4Block the computer when it has three in a row.
5. 5Tap after the result to play again.

• Control the center column — it's part of the most winning lines.
• Watch for 'double threats' where you create two ways to win at once.
